Community Assembly of Roseland
Serving, supporting and protecting our local community
About Us
The Community Assembly of Roseland (Cornish: Rhos or Rôs, meaning heath) is located on the Roseland Peninsula which is a district of west Cornwall. Roseland is located in the south of the Duchy of Cornwall and contains the town of St Mawes and villages such as St Just and Gerrans. It is a peninsula, separated from the remainder of Cornwall by the River Fal. The original Cornish name for Roseland was Eglos-rôs but was renamed Roseland by English settlers around the 10th century.

Community Assemblies are made up of residents concerned about a lack of democratic process at a local and national level, dedicated to preserving and asserting our inalienable rights and obligations to ourselves, the Earth and future generations.
