Community Assembly of Northamptonshire

Serving, supporting and protecting our local communities.

About us

The Community Assembly of Northamptonshire is located in Northamptonshire which is landlocked between eight other counties. Its administrative town is Northampton which is one of the largest towns in England with a a population of 245,899 in 2021. Northampton supported the Parliamentary Roundheads in the English Civil War, and Charles II ordered the destruction of the town walls and most of the castle.

Community Assemblies are made up of residents concerned about a lack of democratic process at a local and national level, dedicated to preserving and asserting our inalienable rights and obligations to ourselves, the Earth and future generations.
