Blood Work

What is Blood Work?

Blood Work is the medical analysis of a blood sample to assess health, detect infections, monitor chronic illness and evaluate organ function. A small sample of blood is taken from the arm to check cells, proteins and chemicals in blood cells or platelets. Blood test results are not diagnoses and an abnormal blood test result does not necessrily relate to a serious medical condition.
