Community Assembly of Wandsworth

Serving, supporting and protecting our local community

About Us

The Community Assembly of Wandsworth is a London borough located in southwest London. Wandsworth takes its name from the River Wandle, which enters the Thames at Wandsworth. It appears in Domesday Book of 1086 as Wandesorde and Wendelesorde. This means 'enclosure of (a man named) Waendel', whose name is also lent to the River Wandle.

Community Assemblies are made up of residents concerned about a lack of democratic process at a local and national level, dedicated to preserving and asserting our inalienable rights and obligations to ourselves, the Earth and future generations.
