People's Assemblies of New Zealand

Serving, supporting and protecting our assemblies and local communities

About us

The People's Assemblies of New Zealand represents an island country in the south western Pacific Ocean. It consists of two main landmasses consisting of the North Island and the South Island and over 700 smaller islands. Since about 1280, Polynesians began to settle in the islands and developed a distinctive Māori culture. New Zealand's capital city is Wellington and is located on the South-Western tip of  the North Island, and its most populous city is Auckland which is also located on the North Island.

Assemblies of the World are made up of residents concerned about a lack of democratic process at a local and national level, dedicated to preserving and asserting our inalienable rights and obligations to ourselves, the Earth and future generations.

Founding Emissary

  • Bill Williamson

Emissaries of enlisted Assemblies of the World in the Group Directory are also affiliate members of the Community Assembly of the British Isles.
