Community Assembly of Australia

Serving, supporting and protecting our assemblies and local communities

About us

The Community Assembly of Australia represents a sovereign country comprising the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania, and numerous smaller islands. It is a mega-diverse country with a wide variety of landscapes and climates. The capital city of Australia is Canberra which was founded in 1913. The ancestors of Aboriginal Australians arrived by sea approximately 65,000 years ago during the last ice age forming c250 distinct language groups by the time of European settlement.

Assemblies of the World are made up of residents concerned about a lack of democratic process at a local and national level, dedicated to preserving and asserting our inalienable rights and obligations to ourselves, the Earth and future generations.
