The Community Assembly Sports Café is located on Woodger Road just off Goldhawk Road in White City London in the northern part of Shepherd's Bush in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It is a popular meeting place for Eritrean and Ethiopian communities in London.
The Sports Cafe serves the best of Eritrean and Ethiopian food in a warm and friendly atmosphere with authentic dishes, original Eritrean and Ethiopian beers and the traditional Zibib drink which is a sweet, fruity, floral-flavored white wine or aniseed liqueur/schnapps from Eritrea. It has a high alcohol content and is often enjoyed as a digestive after a meal.
The Sports Café is a friendly community space where friends and family are invited to spend time together. It provides a welcoming hub for members with facilities that include a sports hall and a cafeteria.
Community Assemblies are made up of residents concerned about a lack of democratic process at a local and national level, dedicated to preserving and asserting our inalienable rights and obligations to ourselves, the Earth and future generations.
