Knowing and understanding the truth is the first step before taking required action for change

The Truth About Knowledge by Sue Cartwright, Community Assembly of the British Isles

Knowing fundamental hidden truths about ourselves and the world we live in is the first step towards changing what we need to change and implementing the best strategy to move forward. Understanding universal laws and how to align to them is paramount on our quest to create a beautiful life on Earth for all people and all living things.

Following on from my previous post summarising The Science of Natural Law from Mark Passio's exceptional video presentation, I was inspired to watch further content which has turned out to be just as insightful.

For this post, I have summarised the first hour of Mark's video presentation The Real Law of Attraction (Part 1 of 3). This provides clear and concise information about knowledge, truth, teachability and the connection between high frequencies, truth and reality which I know you will love.

I have recreated a couple of diagrams which are a direct representation of Mark's models. The full video and presentation slides are available to download from the respective videos on Mark's website.

Introduction

The Real Law of Attraction is an initiation into knowledge hidden from humanity for millennia.

The truth is singular, external and objective. The truth has always been here with us and will always be here. The truth is unchanging which means it is not dependent on the perceptions of human beings, rather, it requires us to align our perceptions to it.

The problem with this is that challenging a 'perceived truth' can equate to a direct assault on someone's ego. Few people want to admit they are wrong or take the trouble to understand why their beliefs might be in question. It can take a long time and a lot of effort to remove long held false beliefs and work our way back to the truth which is why many people don't want to do it.

Fortunately, there are plenty of us who are committed to understanding the truth about ourselves and the world we would like to live in. The next step is taking the required action. This is where Mark's teachings have particular impact in providing us with a means to explain the truth about knowledge and the requirements needed to bring about beneficial change.

Hidden knowledge

There are two aspects of universal knowledge and both have been hidden from us to create a power differential between the 'few who know' and 'we the people' who don't know anything. The good news is that more and more of us are finding out what we are not supposed to know and what we now want to know.  The latter represents a fast-growing worldwide community of like-minded souls who are working hard to piece everything together, join together, share what we know and take cooperative action.

  1. Macro Knowledge - understanding universal spiritual laws that are generally unseen but manifest in a myriad of ways into our physical existence. This includes Natural Law, the Law of Nature, Universal Law, Human Nature, etc
  2. Micro Knowledge - understanding our existence as individual human beings and creative beings of spiritual consciousness.

We now know that Universal Spiritual Law governs the consequences of behaviour for intelligent species. This is true for human beings who are able to gain understanding through knowledge. The animal kingdom differs from us as our fellow sentient beings do not have the ability to think as we do. The animal kingdom does not share the same level of consciousness which means 'we' are the ones to be held accountable for the choices we are able to make through our own free will.

Human beings are governed by Natural Law as this is what governs our behaviour based on the natural law of cause and effect. This is why we agree to abide by the four tenets of Natural Law as members of the Community Assembly of the British Isles and Assemblies of the World. Natural Law or Community Law is our guiding principle which enables us to self-govern ourselves and work together in harmony.

Scale of teachability

Finding out the truth as a process of discovery and enlightenment requires us to place ourselves in a situation where we are open to being questioned and willing to learn new things. It also means that if we want to open closed minds, we have to try and create a favourable environment in which to do so.

This is something demonstrated perfectly in a recent post written by Warren Cavanagh, our Emissary for the Assembly of Australia in The Healing Power of Listening. It's a heartwarming, uplifting and insightful story about 'sowing seeds of knowledge' which is wonderful to read.

  • Low teachability - derives from the extremes of arrogance and rigid scepticism on the one hand to gullibility and naivete on the other.
  • High teachability - derives from a balance between healthy scepticism and an open-minded willingness to learn.

This means that nurturing and developing the attributes of curiosity, listening, critical thinking, open mindedness, integrity and humility is a wonderful thing to do. It means we not only become wholly 'teachable' and flexible but most importantly, more 'able to teach' others based on a universal understanding of fundamental truth coupled with our own unique knowledge and experience.

As Mark so rightly says, once we know the truth, we have a moral obligation to share it and help each other make the necessary changes.

Knowledge into action

When we say we want happiness, health, peace, freedom and prosperity we need to understand that these things are not a given. Just like Nature, certain things have to be put in place for favourable outcomes to occur.

None of us can 'think' what we want into reality and no one is going to do it for us. Favourable conditions in life do not simply manifest automatically or appear by some kind of magical means. This is a typical deception propogated by the New Age Movement. For things to become a reality, certain requirements have to be put in place or nothing will happen and nothing will change.

This means that if we want real change to happen requirements exist and this can be difficult for people to accept. Taking the required action for beneficial change to happen requires hard work, commitment and a certain amount of self-introspection and soul-searching which often acts as an effective barrier to change.

For those of us prepared to make a commitment - to ourselves, our lives and the world we live in - the importance of unearthing, understanding, sharing and teaching fundamental truth and universal law becomes paramount.

These are the building blocks upon which we will realise our shared vision and find the best ways to live and work together in our supportive community environments.

[When it comes to finding the right questions to ask, a previous post with insights into The Book of Beautiful Questions provides a series of key questions we can ask about things we want to know more about.]

Frequency of truth

This comes up later in the presentation but I had to include it because it explains 'being in line with the truth' or 'being in the flow' so beautifully.

It's so simple when you think about it and I love that it gives us a simple and scientific reasoning for raising our frequencies as a means to connect with truth on the continuum of reality or 'what really is.'

Resonating at a high frequency means by definition we become more closely aligned with the unchangeable line of truth that represents the reality of a given situation at any moment in time.

Going back to what was said previously, this means that aligning ourselves to the truth requires us to raise our frequencies rather than attempt to adjust the variable lens of our perception.

As Mark says, the truth is there and always will be, it's our job to find it, align ourselves to it, work out how we should proceed and take the required action!

Final note

There was so much more I could have written for this post and I highly recommend watching the 2 hour video. It puts everything into context and I am looking forward to learning more about Mark's work for further golden nuggets to share.

I hope that in this case, we can see how our individual and combined actions are making a difference in terms of discovering fundamental knowledge, understanding what matters to all of us and working out how we can best take action together to create a wonderful future built on a bedrock of universal truth.

As always, thank you for reading, and I hope this post has been helpful.
